Coral returns to MTV when she talks about the Sydney cast this weekend

Coral (Back to New York) is coming back to MTV after a short hiatus, giving us her opinion on what she thinks of this new Sydney cast.

Coral will be on the upcoming Gauntlet 3, but she will make a brief appearance as the host of a Real World Sydney marathon this Saturday beginning at 11a/10c.

Sydney is now coming to a head now that we have Ashli (Sydney) in the house and now that Parisa (Sydney) and Trisha (Sydney) will have their penultimate scene which leads to the finale in which presumably Trisha goes home.

Coral comes out of the closet as "venturing toward her lesbian qualities"

Perez Hilton broke this story on Coral (Back to New York), who has presumably come out as a lesbian after years of dating men including some on reality television.

The interview talks about how Coral has recently decided to venture toward women and decided not to do so on reality television because it'd be kinda mean to come out to her parents on a reality television show. She was seen cavorting with Abram (South Pacific) on a Challenge, which is a relationship that she later denied ever happened.

The interview she gives with Outlook Magazine identifies her as coming out more and doing more GLBT events.

She also states that she is mulling an offer to be on the next Challenge, which is reportedly scheduled to be filming now or relatively soon.

Yes has graduated from UC Berkeley and is living in Chicago; Coral no longer a host on radio show

Here's a quick update on some alumni: Yes (Semester At Sea), who recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in architecture, has been spotted living in the Chicago area in the Wicker Park neighborhood. Yes is allegedly living with his girlfriend in the area. You can check out his website here.

Coral (Back to New York), who had been roommates with Melissa (New Orleans) only until recently when Melissa moved to Long Island with her boyfriend, had been hosting a radio show in San Francisco on Energy 92.7. The show, Fernando and Greg in the Morning, was retooled, and Coral, who had served as the entertainment reporter, had mysteriously been dropped from the lineup and the website with no explanation. No word on what happened.

Aneesa will send Beth packing in the upcoming episode; Coral has a casting couch for Key West with Cameran, Lacey, Steven, Wes, Willie

Monday marks yet another new episode of the Gauntlet II. Again, the following are spoilers for the episode. If you want to figure out what happens in this and future episodes, highlight the following text:

In this Girl's Gauntlet Day, both Beth (Los Angeles) and Kina (Extreme) face the possibility of going home. While Beth is still aloof from the rest of her team, Kina, the more appreciated of the two, starts to feel the pressure of facing the Gauntlet. With team unity at an all-time low, the Veterans fail to secure a third win, sending Beth into the Gauntlet. Beth picks Aneesa (Chicago) to go into the Gauntlet with her. The long standing feud between the two forces words between them, but eventually Beth is sent packing after a anti-climatic Gauntlet. Only three Gauntlets to go... As we told you earlier, the Veteran women only had one more Gauntlet left, so Aneesa (Chicago), Julie (New Orleans), Katie (The Quest) and Robin (San Diego) will be at the final Challenge.

And a special segment that has been airing on MTV's Overdrive for quite a bit, Coral's (Back to New York) Casting Couch: Your First Look at the Real World Key West aired on MTV for the first time last night. Only those with broadband can access the episode in its entirety on OVerdrive, but MTV will be sure to run the episode once again. Coral (Back to New York) along with Cameran (San Diego), Lacey (Austin), Steven (Las Vegas), Wes (Austin) and Willie (Philadelphia) all sit down in Key West to examine Janelle, John, Jose, Paula, Svetlana, Tyler and Zach. While the show is sprinkled with footage of the season throughout the episode, the special focuses mostly on their casting tapes. But MTV also reminds us throughout the episode that you can watch this, other season previews and even a glimpse of Tuesday night's episode on Overdrive. For those without broadband, you'll just have to wait until Tuesday night at 10pm.

Jake is trekking across America; Coral and Mike are team captains

Jake (Islands) has started a new project up at his blog. From what started from the search to meet his soulmate to a trek across America, read Jake's latest adventures at his blog.

The Battle of the Network Reality Stars premieres tonight. And despite there being a focus on teams being split up by networks, it looks like the teams will be split up randomly. Once again, from MTVs Real World and Road Rules, we have Coral (Back to New York), Melissa (New Orleans), Mike (Back to New York) and Theo (Maximum Velocity Tour). Trishelle (Las Vegas) will also be sharing sideline reporting duties with other reality TV stars. Coral and Melissa are on the red team. Mike (Back to New York) is on the blue team. Theo (Maximum Velocity Tour) is on the green team.

What's the red team's name? Team Coral. What's the blue team's name? Team Miz. This after Evan Marriott (Joe Millioniare), Adam Mesh (Average Joe) and Richard Hatch (Survivor Borneo) all said that certain castmembers took the show a little more seriously than others. Looks like all those years of Challenges will pay off. Battle of the Network Reality Stars airs tonight at 9PM on Bravo.

Landon opens a new website; Melissa, Trishelle, Mike, Theo, Coral appear on BONRS

Landon (Philadelphia) is the first castmember on his season to open a website. Check out landonlueck.net.

Also, Battle of the Network Reality Stars is premiering next Wednesday on Bravo. The show is getting a lot of attention in recent days leading up to its premiere. The show will feature Melissa (New Orleans), Theo (Maximum Velocity Tour), Coral (Back to New York), Mike (Back to New York) and Trishelle (Las Vegas) as a sideline reporter. Although initial reports had the four teaming up as their own "Real World/Road Rules" team, there are actually four teams of eight contestants, with each team vying for a $80,000 prize package. The classic format should have the cast teaming up according to their own network. However, this seems to be a problem as the show is overrun by CBS castmembers and has only one representative from UPN and ABC each. Other participants? Nikki McKibbin (American Idol), Ryan Starr (American Idol, The Surreal Life 3), Adam Mesh (Average Joe), Charla & Mirna (Amazing Race), Chip & Kim (Amazing Race), Jonathan & Victoria (Amazing Race), Richard Hatch (Survivor), Sue Hawk (Survivor), Mike Malin (Big Brother), Will Kirby (Big Brother), Evan Marriott (Joe Millionaire)... In addition to Trishelle, Omarosa (Apprentice, The Surreal Life 5) will be one of the several others doing the commentating.

By the way, TV Guide's reason not to miss the premiere episode? The collective cast teaming up to dunk Coral (Back to New York) in the water tank because of her "abrasive personality and tiny bikini". It airs Wednesday 9pm/ET on Bravo.

Side note: Melissa (New Orleans) makes mention of an incident that happened between her, Coral and Omarosa. It's a bit of a preview as she plans to update once the show begins next week with a brand new blog. Check it out here. And also, as always, The Miz will be updating you from his online Challenge diary, where he already promises drama and competition.

The latest Pit Stop in the Amazing Race was the site of the Battle of the Sexes; Coral, Mike, Melissa spotted doing a photo shoot

For those of you who are Amazing Race fans and caught the finale last night, you might have recognized the 11th pit stop in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Why is this Real World/Road Rules news? Because that hotel and villa was the site of Battle of the Sexes I. That's right, the Race had the Round Hill Resort as their pit stop for the 2nd to last leg of the race.

Also, I'm getting emails from several different people saying that they saw Coral (Back to New York), Mike (Back to New York) and Melissa (New Orleans) on Hollywood Blvd. doing a photo shoot. It's unclear what it was for, but it appears not to be directly related with the shows. More info to come on this soon.

Also, here are several different articles on the Austin season:

Coral and Mark push Old School versus New School for the next version of the Challenge

If you had a chance to check out Blair's show over at MTV, then you already know that Coral and Mark will be on the next challenge titled Old School vs. New School.

Monday, February 07, 2005

Coral and Mark will be Blair's first guests on his talk show on MTV.com

Also, on the same note with Blair (The Quest) having his own talk show. (His first guests are Coral (Back to New York) and Mark (USA Tour 1).) New pictures have been posted at MTV.com. It looks like there are actually televisions in the lounge, the villas are incredibly beautiful and the Inferno set is looking better than ever.

Tonya, Derrick, Veronica, Mark, Coral will be on this new Challenge

On today's Fishbowl chat, Tonya (Chicago) revealed who would be appearing on the new Challenge. She, Derrick (Xtreme), Veronica (Semester at Sea), Mark (USA Your 1) and Coral (Back to New York) are confirmed. But she also said Melissa would be participating. Unclear whether it is Miami or New Orleans Melissa.

Tonya leaves this Sunday, the 9th and there is no clue (as usual) as to where the Challenge will be filmed. Production will be taking away their watches and sunglasses. Possibly so they are up longer and can catch them crying.

The Challenge premieres in June.

Wednesday, November 03, 2004

Timmy, Steven, Coral will be on the Fishbowl today

If you are itching to hear from Timmy (USA Tour 1), Steven (Las Vegas), or Coral (Back to New York), check out the Fishbowl today. Timmy and Steven will be on Trishelle's show at 12:00 p.m.(pt). Coral will be on for a live chat at 7:00 p.m.(pt).

Preview episode of Philadelphia airs tonight; Coral and Abram may be dating

The preview episode of The Real World XV: Philadelphia will air tonight. Expect to see snippets of the new season and old castmembers talk, talk, talk about the new roomies.

And I've been receiving numerous sightings of two very suspicious alumni. We're all hearing rumors that Coral (Back to New York) and Abram (South Pacific) are dating. They actually started something secretly during the Inferno and apparently we're supposed to see something of their romance in Battle of the Sexes 2. However, many people have been catching both Coral and Abram out in public, schmoozing it up, in each other's arms. Well, the latest sighting was the most interesting as someone spotted the couple at Disney's California Adventure with none other than Abram's parents. Good luck to those two and we'll see them on the Battle this fall!

Steven, Shane, Theo, Brad, Ruthie, Robin, Ibis, Tonya, Coral are on the Challenge

Kristin at E-Online weighs in on the Challenge this week, confirming and denying some people who are in attendance:

She confirms that Steven (Las Vegas), Shane (Campus Crawl), Theo (Maximum Velocity Tour), Brad (San Diego), Ruthie (Hawaii), Robin (San Diego), Ibis (Xtreme), Tonya (Chicago), and Coral (Back to New York) are all there. But she also mysteriously says that Mike (Back to New York) declined to do this Challenge? Unfortunately, we can neither confirm or deny this.

Coral and Rachel are doing well in the Challenge; Veronica is not doing well

Here's a small, itty-bitty update on people's performance at the Challenge:

As far as the last few people being sent home, we haven't really heard anything, but the last we heard, some of your favorite "regulars" had some varying degrees of success. Now, we all know that performing well in the missions doesn't actually mean that you're not going to be sent home. But, it does tend to help you sometimes... Coral (Back to New York) is said to performing well in the Challenge along with Rachel (Campus Crawl), while Veronica (Semester At Sea) is said not to be performing as well.

Hook-up Report: The various castmembers that are hooking up with one another

What a tangled love web the RW/RR crowd weaves! Here's the low down on who is hooking up, who hooked up, and who broke up. Well you all know that Dave (South Pacific) and Cara (South Pacific) are still together and apparently Trishelle (Las Vegas) and Adam (The Quest) are still going strong. Something you might not know is that Abram (South Pacific) and Coral (Back to New York) are an item. Robin (San Diego) and Blair (The Quest) have apparently hooked up but it seems it was just a one-time deal. As for the break ups, Lori (Back to New York) and Kyle (Chicago) are no longer together. Mallory (Paris) and Ace (Paris) are done. Last but not least, whatever happened with Cameran (San Diego) and Brad (San Diego) while taping the San Diego season is not happening now according to Cameran.

Colin refuses to do appearances with Julie in the future, Melissa and Coral are moving in together

New news! Yes, yes... Apparently, the appearance that we told you about with Colin (Hawaii), Lori (Back to New York), Nathan (Seattle), and Julie (New Orleans) didn't go as well as they wanted to. Apparently, Colin will not do any more appearances with Julie claiming that her on stage "creates a bad end-product". This having to deal with Julie's lies about spirituality, abstinence, drugs, and her 9/11 ordeal... It is unclear what that means exactly, but obviously Colin did have a problem with Julie. However, Colin is still giving away copies of his book... And he's going to be filming some upcoming appearances. Go to his website to keep up with him.

Also, some news with other castmembers. If you follow any of Melissa's (New Orleans) rants on her webpage, you know that she and Coral (Back to New York) are great friends... So much so, that the two plan to move in together soon! Both Melissa and Coral moved to Los Angeles after their stints on the Real World.

And rumor has it that both Coral (Back to New York) and Julie (New Orleans) have been both asked to do the next installment of the Challenge (after the Gauntlet), which will begin filming in October.

And today was Rachel's (San Francisco) last day on ABCs The View. She is trying to get a spot on the show as a co-host. SUPPORT RACHEL! Read yesterday's post to see how exactly to do so! Congratulations to Rachel! She did wonderfully, even as Star Jones seemed to take a shine to her! Good luck!
