And it's finally confirmed...
After a massive amount of rumors and questions, BMP and MTV finally formally announced that they will be renewing The Real World and Road Rules for at least one season more. Producers and executives confirmed yesterday, in this press release, that The Real World will be hitting the streets of Philadelphia in Spring 2004. Also, they said Road Rules will be filming its 13th season in South America, most notably in Chile and Argentina. Good news for you fans! No word on what is the fate of the Challenge series, as MTV optioned to pick up the Challenge up to the Inferno, but no word yet on future seasons.
In Real World: Philadelphia news, I have received information that there is renovations going down at 3rd and Arch, the highly publicized location of the house. There is an old church being renovated by a production company. Although the production company is claiming no ties to the Real World or MTV, it seems kind of suspcious that a production company would be renovating a church into a living space... Hmmm.... There's actually a picture of the interior that looks Real World-esque at this article. Thanks to Ryan for that info!
