Rumor mill: Road Rules 14 may be casted alongside Real World 19
So a little update on the Road Rules rumor mill. Back in March, BMP announced that Road Rules would be entering a redevelopment stage, along with some content of its other shows such as The Simple Life. In the same announcement, they promised an actual series from T.J. Lavin called T.J.'s Tips and Tricks and The Real Mean Girls starring Veronica (Semester At Sea) and Rachel (Campus Crawl).
So, fast forward to now, if you take a look at BMP's website, they're currently casting for The Real World 19 by holding open calls and accepting tapes. It seems that they're also moving forward with The Real Mean Girls Club. I'm also hearing that casting for the 19th season of The Real World may also be for Road Rules as well. Ever since its inception, Road Rules has been casted from the same applicant pool as The Real World. Although there's no mention of it on the casting site, it's not totally unheard of for them to do this. (ie. Several of the Fresh Meat challengers were finalists for Key West. Linette (Fresh Meat) is known to be one of them.) So, if Road Rules were to be in pre-production, now would be the time that BMP would be casting for it. So send in those tapes!

The Duel to premiere October 2; Denver to premiere December 5
We have two premiere dates (finally) for both The Duel and Denver. Thanks to RJ for this information.
The 13th installment of the Real World / Road Rules Challenge: The Duel begins on October 2, 10/9c.
The 18th installment of The Real World: Denver begins on December 5, 10/9c.
This was announced as part of MTVs fall lineup, with no mention of Road Rules, which is still being re-tooled. There's no official word whether or not production has been dropped as of yet, but the rumor mill is starting and Road Rules may see the light of day yet again.

Fresh Meat reunion reveals the Duel airs in October; Denver open house turnout is dismal
Last night, the Fresh Meat Challenge aired its reunion episode. One of the most surprising facts revealed was that The Duel will begin airing next month. Although there was no trailer or promo shown (although the promo has been running since the VMAs aired), The Duel is officially slated to air in October.
Check out Diem's (Fresh Meat) website which is a medical registry dedicated to providing items to those sick who are in need of items to help recuperate themselves.
Also, last night was the Denver open house, where they allowed people to view the house. Although production was hoping that 200 people would show up, I hear that it was nowhere close to that. The cast wasn't there to greet those who showed up. However, full tours of the house were given. More details soon...

Lori commemorates 9/11 attacks with her own personal account of 9/11/2001
Nothing new to report. Today marks the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. As unpertinent as the shows are to 9/11, Lori (Back to New York) fills us in, five years later about how she experienced 9/11. Her and Coral (Back to New York) actually made it out of NYC the day prior and headed to Boston. There, they met up with Melissa (New Orleans) who was scheduled to fly stand-by on Flight 11, but slept in. She also mentions how Julie (New Orleans) was actually enroute to the airport to catch Flight 11 also, but how she got into a fight with her boyfriend over the phone and turned her cab around to stay in Boston. Check it out.
