The Rio Grande Restaurant finally opens in the old location of the Austin house
The Rio Grande Restaurant has finally opened in the space that once housed the Austin cast. Since the cast moved out, there has been extensive million-dollar renovations done to the building, some which are detailed by this article. If you're ever in Austin, have lunch in the Real World house.

The New York Times criticizes production for casting Paula
The New York Times has published an article about Paula (Key West) and the controversy surrounding her issues. While Paula claims to have ultimately been helped by the show in the end, the Times questions the responsibility of the program in casting Paula on the show. Paula even mentions that she may have been brought on the program in order to stray from the partying atmosphere of the last few seasons. The article reveals that tonight's episode will feature Paula's visits to a clincal psychologist. Check out the article here.

Yes has graduated from UC Berkeley and is living in Chicago; Coral no longer a host on radio show
Here's a quick update on some alumni: Yes (Semester At Sea), who recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in architecture, has been spotted living in the Chicago area in the Wicker Park neighborhood. Yes is allegedly living with his girlfriend in the area. You can check out his website here.
Coral (Back to New York), who had been roommates with Melissa (New Orleans) only until recently when Melissa moved to Long Island with her boyfriend, had been hosting a radio show in San Francisco on Energy 92.7. The show, Fernando and Greg in the Morning, was retooled, and Coral, who had served as the entertainment reporter, had mysteriously been dropped from the lineup and the website with no explanation. No word on what happened.
