Last night's episode saw Trisha (Sydney) go home at the hands of Parisa (Sydney) much to the the dismay of Kelly Anne (Sydney) and Ashli (Sydney). The girls have been the center of drama in the Sydney house since Day 1. With the exit of Shauvon (Sydney) and Trisha, does it get any better?
Last night's episode hinted that Kelly Anne and Ashli would be turning against Parisa after they were unhappy with Parisa's decision to send Trisha home. With Ashli joining Parisa's Contiki team, the tension is palpable.
Here's a small update:
If you look at Parisa's MySpace, Ashli's MySpace, and Kelly Anne's MySpace, you can see the three are on each other's Top Friends.
If you've been keeping a close eye, they'll post messages on each other's page insinuating that they get over the drama and make up. Kelly Anne also posted a message not too long ago about spitting on the window in the phone room yesterday. She claimed that she was drunk and that there was a lot of fights between her and Parisa before that, but she did call both Parisa and Trisha her friends.
Keep watching to see how this plays out, especially with the return of Isaac (Sydney), who apparently didn't like Trisha either.

I am so glad Trisha is gone. She made a pathetic attempt to apologize to Parisa then followed it up with, "I feel sorry for you. At least I have a man who loves me, friends, and a great family." Very Christian.
Kelli Ann had been really chill the last few episodes, but then she starts spitting on the window? I think those girls were acting plain awful and were so immature. I can understand they were hurt by Parisa's decision, but c'mon.
mtv.com has an episode summary up that gives the entire summary of next weeks episode if anyone's interested. Oh, and trisha sucks!!!
When are we going to see the episode where it comes out that Kelli Ann is preggers? I swear I saw a preview that hinted about her being knocked up but then never heard anything more. Was I dreaming?
Parsia's convictions are commendable! Trisha is manipulative, condescending , and overall a bad person. She's the person who always needs to one-up the person standing next to her! I strongly believe Parisa's decision to send Trisha home is totally in the right! I hope kelli anne and that floozi Ashli realize they are brainwashed and manipulated by Trisha's WASP agenda! We need 10 Parisa's in this world to combat every one Trisha
i was so happy when i realized that Trisha was going home. i can honestly say that i can't survive for a day living with someone like that. I've never seen anyone so self-obsessed, selfish, pushy and conniving in my life. i applaud parisa for her bold decision and honestly think its the right thing she could have done in that situation.
as for Kelli ann and Ashli, all i can say is they just completely lost their cool and acted like immature idiots. hopefully, when they calm down, they will be able to snap out of the trance that Trisha had placed upon them.
NOTE: Isaac is the coolest member in the house. and Norin is pretty good looking. "great catch Isaac"
I agree with all the posts before that Trisha had to go-what an imbecile! I hope her boyfriend enjoys watching her be a complete lying slut on national television. Now with Issac back the tide will turn and Kelli Ann and Ashli are going to have to make nice if they want the attention they so crave. I hope both those girls drown-the world would be better off.
so does someone else replace trisha?
Isaac is most definitely the man. I think when Isaac comes back, he will vocalize to the girls that none of the guys ever liked Trisha in the first place. As a result, I think the girl's minds will be a little more open to the situation. I don't think Parisa would have ever gotten through to them. All of this will blow over after a day or so because Kelli Ann and Ashli will refocus their attention to Cohutta and Dunbar.
I'm going to guess No on the new roommate. Even producers of reality tv wouldn't want to expose a new roommate to the Sydney drama.
I am so glad Trisha is gone. As for the other two girls I knew that the minute Trisha left they were going to be mad for a little bit but it will not last long. They have only known Trisha for a short while and so I can't imagine they will be upset for that long.
Parisa is the one character in a long time on this show that seems to demonstrate some maturity. She comes off like a thoughtful person who (thank god) doesn't fit the mold of who mtv usually casts: party-focued, vapid, empty-vessel, drinking-focused types of girls who have nothing interesting to say and few, if any goals other than "partying."
It's so nice to see someone who doesn't look like an alum from that sweet sixteen show.
This is such a me, me, me, me, me generation. Where everyone seems to want to be famous but doesn't want to have to do anything to deserve it. And the worst of these types always seem to be cast of this show :)
So it's nice to see someone different in Parisa. And HILARIOUS to see the blond, drinking, cursing, partying, self-absorbed, not-very-gracious trisha always talking about her christianity. hilarious. you couldn't write that stuff.
Parisa is the girl. We need more like her in this world. And to Trisha, she is committing blasphemy every time she utter the word "Christianity". She is not a Christian at all. And to Kelli Ann, she has no character. She's so immature and most of the time doesn't make sense. She seems to be in the la la land. I cannot even take everything she says seriously. She's weird, in a bad way. Go Trisha Team!!!
saw the commercial for the next episode, and it turns out Dunbar and Ashli have sex...sluts! I wonder how Dunbar's gf reacts to the news. I also watched the previews and it's funny seeing Isaac stating the fact to all the roommates "Trisha sucks and no one liked Trisha!"
First of all, I have no idea how Tricia's parents raised Tricia.
In the living room, Parisa was right, none of the other roomates were putting themselves in her shoes. If it was just Tricia randomly pushing Parisa, like CT and Davis, things would be different. But Tricia has been being obnoxious to Parisa since day one and none of them considered that.
When Tricia said in the bedroom, "I would never do that, it just shows me that I'm the bigger person" I literally started laughing. Yes Tricia, you might have never sent someone home. But I can't seen Parisa constantly degrating someone and making them feel so excluded. I can't see Parisa losing such self control that she has to run at someone and push her. I can't see Parisa hoping someone's life is a living hell. I can't see Parisa telling someone that everyone thinks they are worth nothing. Personally, I'd rather be the smaller person - the one who sends someone home than the bigger one who is that hurtful. But that's just me.
That entire conversation pissed me off. Tricia's time ended in Sydney because she pushed Parisa. Parisa did not force her to do ANYTHING. Tricia sent herself home.
And Ashli and Kelly Ann: How immature are you. This isn't high school anymore. Try a little emphathy.
Tricia, you didn't reach out to Parisa. You were trying to save your ass. You told your father you weren't sorry and you hated her. Sure, some of that stuff might have been said in anger, but if there wasn't a threat of you going home, you would have never had apologized. Do not deny it.
Sending her home proved to me that Parisa is all the things that Cohutta said she would be if she didn't send her home. To quote Dunbar, "She made the best decision for Parisa to make." You are the classiest, most mature person in that house Parisa (not that that's really saying anything), but keep it up.
Ditto.^^ Couldn't have said it better myself.
I knew something "high school" was going to happen after just meeting the original 7 castmates. Real World Casting department: What were you thinking?!?!? I really miss how The Real World used to have intelligent, motivated people on the show. Now it's just American standard morons on spring break.
I could not stand how the girls blamed Parisa for Trisha going home. Um, on the contracts that you all signed, it says you cannot hit anyone or else you go home. Why is everyone shocked that Parisa made the CORRECT decision that the producers should have made in the first place? Through all of the crap that Parisa went through from those idiots, she should get a medal.
after some thought, i've come to the conclusion that ashli might be the ugliest real worlder ever.
Like just about everyone, I am so glad that Trisha is gone! She appeared so self-richeous and her "Christian" comments were driving me crazy! However, Parisa is not my favorite person either. I give her credit for standing up to everyone, but there is still something odd about her. As a woman, women like Parisa that don't seem to be able to get along with any other women usually have some issues!! That said, the girls in the house are extremely immature, but normally there is some sort of bond that you can have with them and so far in the house I have not seen that. Notice, they only show her on the phone with her family or a male friend. Something is odd about that!
everyone- this ia all done. Trisha is gone. You all got your wish. Now move onto something OTHER than talking shit on everyone in the house.
I am super offended at the comments that Trisha made about being a Christian. She uses her belief as a put down to other people. Kudos to Parisa for being the better person. She represents all strong women. Even if she wasn't supported in the house she is gaining tons of support right now.
oh chill venting and expressing opinions are why blogs were created
i agree trisha has no Christian values. she is a hateful person who from day one treated prisa like crap. i am so glad she is gone and i wish the other girls would follow. kelly ann is just a brat who can not think for herself and ashli just joined the roommates and she is totally offended that trisha was sent home. give me a break ashli needs to stop being a follower.
PARISA IS JUST AS BAD AS THE REST OF THE GIRLS IN THE HOUSE. SHE NEEDS TO GET OFF HER HIGH HORSE. I PERSONALLY CAN'T STAND ALL OF HER WHINING. SHE HAS NO CLUE THAT SHE'S PART OF THE PROBLEM. TRYING TO HOOK UP WITH ANOTHER GIRLS GUY IS A NO-NO. BUT IN PARISA'S MIND, SHE IS THE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE. SOMEONE SHOULD FILL HER IN AND LET HER KNOW THAT KINDNESS IS CONTAGIOUS AND PLAYING THE VICTIM GETS OLD.
do you know how hard it is to be the one representation of people of color? I think Prissa has handled the stress well. Clearly, someone said this but Trisha is a WASP. She has so much white privileged spewing out of her it's ridiculous. It's a shame that MTV did this to Prissa. The lack of diversity on this season is disgusting and is a huge dissapointment. What's the point of getting a bunch of white people who are all the same to live with eachother. Boring, and very exclusive. Would it have killed them to throw in a lesbian, or hell maybe someone in a wheeled chair? When the other blond girl left they had the opportunity to put in someone that Parissa could connect with. Instead the marginalized her even more. Parissa is so strong for not having thrown someone out the window. Once again the minority has to put up with all the bullshit. I would have left.
BECAUSE PARISA IS A MINORITY DOES NOT GIVE HER THE RIGHT TO DISRESPECT OTHERS. SHE HAS NOT CONDUCTED HERSELF ANY BETTER THAN THE OTHER GIRLS IN THE HOUSE AND AS MUCH AS I DON'T LIKE TRISHA, I FEEL SHE HAD EVERY RIGHT TO BE PISSED OFF AT PARISSA. THE ONLY THING SHE DID WRONG WAS PUSH HER.PARISSA ENJOYS PLAYING THE MARTYR AND IT'S SO UGLY........
Trisha SUCKS !!! Why is the Real World upside down ? Why doesn't anyone defend Parisa A LITTLE ? The girls have a warped sense of right and wrong. Trisha isn't even that hot...a legend in her own mind. Her as is big, her chest is small, her hair is bleached and her "throaty" voice makes me want to puke.
OH MY GAWWWD!!! I was just looking at Trisha's myspace pg. And in her album called my best pics. She has a pic of her friends and her w/ some black guys, it's obvious they don't know them.( A). Her and her friends r posing w/ the peace sign as if that's what ur supposed 2 do when posing w/ black guys?. So stereo typical white girlz. I'm white mind you!! Also, her friend left a comment right below. Saying. FRIED CHICKEN!!!!!! Not only is she prejudice And she says she's not, her friends are just as bad!! GO LOOK!! IT'S AWFUL.
"TRYING TO HOOK UP WITH ANOTHER GIRLS GUY IS A NO-NO."
Hooking up with another guy when you have a boyfriend is a no-no. I don't agree with what Parisa did there, but I don't see how Tricia had any claim to the guy.
"SHE HAS NOT CONDUCTED HERSELF ANY BETTER THAN THE OTHER GIRLS IN THE HOUSE"
I don't recall Parisa pushing anyone or telling them that their worthless. . . I think there's no question she's conducted herself better than Tricia.
"THE ONLY THING SHE DID WRONG WAS PUSH HER."
Look back at early episodes. . . if you just watch this episode, you'd think that, but there is a backstory
Parissa isn't perfect and I don't think she ever claimed to be. No, she didn't always handle every situation in the best way, she's human!!!! Trisha used every opportunity to manipulate the other girls to see her side only and to villianize Parissa. This wasn't hard to do being that the other girls were much more like herself than Parissa. Parissa isn't a "sorority girl" and I doubt she cares to be.
I've known girls like Trisha my entire life and it's sad to say they never change. Girls like Trisha grow up to be women like Trisha. They are unable to shine on their own so they have to stand on the shoulders of others to be noticed. Eventually, people see through them and there's no one else around to stand on and they are forgotten.
Girls like Parissa, go on to accomplish more than shopping for others. What an unfulfilling job, buying wonderful things for the successful people who can afford them with their hard earned money. Maybe Parissa can hire Trisha to do her shopping one day. That is if she has time between bible studies and trash talking.
MTV please cast people who can accoplish something wonderful through the platform you provide with this show. Young impressionable people are watching this show thinking that this kind of behavior gets you on TV (the sad thing is, it does). The only thing being promoted in this show is drinking, sex, and bullying minorities.
How interesting would it be to have a cast of people with particular talents and drive. Give them the amazing opportunity that the show provides to reach millions of young minds. Maybe, MTV thinks that sex and drinking is what their audience wants and rightfully so. However, these young minds have been trained to want to see these behaviors by MTV.
I'm 29 and have been watching MTV for a very long time. I have watched the show and the channel evolove for the worse. Maybe I'm getting old and should just watch VH1. All I know is, when I have children, MTV won't be on the menu. Not as long as people like Trisha, Ashley, and Kelly Ann are on these shows scantily dressed and acting either like sluts or just plain MEAN!
BTW Parissa is not fat and neither is Trisha. There are many beautiful body types and most men (not boys) prefer Parissa's body type with shape and curve in the hips. When are we going to realize that stick thin isn't always beautiful, especially if it is the container of a mean spirit!
Remember the very first episode when Trisha and Kelly Ann were scheming in their bedroom behind Parisa's back? I believe it was Kelly Ann who spouted something along the lines of "She's not even pretty. What's she doing here?"
These ladies actually believe themselves that 'The Real World' is nothing more than a playground for the beautiful. Remember San Francisco? A med student, a cartoonist, an activist or two...
FOR ALL OF YOU WHO THINK PARISSA IS SO CLASSY I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO KNOW HOW YOU FELT SHE HANDLED HERSELF WITH THE LAST FIGHT OVER ALEX. MOST OF WHAT CAME OUT OF HER MOUTH WAS BLEEPED. COME ON, PEOPLE SHE IS NO HERO. OH, AND LET'S NOT FORGET THIS IS THE NIGHT SHE WORE NO UNDIES, GOT TOTALLY DRUNK, MADE OUT WITH ALEX IN THE BATHROON AND PUKED IN THE CONFESSIONAL. SHE IS NO BETTER THAN TRISHA. SHE HAD TWO ROADS TO TAKE IN THIS HOUSE, THE HIGH ROAD OR THE LOW ROAD. IT'S A SHAME PARISSA CHOSE TO GO DOWN THE SAME PATH AS THE OTHER BIMBOS.
Kudos to Trisha, she didn't take any shit from Parisa. Maybe Real World should fly Parisa's family out to Sydney so they could all feel sorry for themselves. Parisa is the real fake in the house, coming from N.Y. you think she would no how to handle herself. She came to the house with a chip on her shoulder, let's just hope Trish knocked it off....Go Trisha.
shout out to the 29 year old poster! :) I'm also a bit older and have been watching rw for quite a while.
It's crazy to compare people like Trisha, Ashli (with an i!), Shevaun and even Dunbar and Issac to previous cast members like Pedro, Kevin Powell, Becky from season 1, Judd/Pam/Mohammid from San Fran -- these cast members from the older seasons were just so much more interesting and compelling. They were all trying to do something and shared that on the show.
What is trisha (or the others) about? what do they care about other then drinking and hooking up? Whatever their other interests are (if any) they never share them on the show. It's a sad commentary on a certain segment of youth today that these idiots are who mtv selects to showcase (or else it's a sad commentary on mtv..).
After putting a great deal of thought into this I wonder, could trisha be any more of an idiot?
how do you justify hitting, pushing, cursing, being generally mean-spirited, flirting with cheating on your boyfriend, making fun of other races who are working at mcdonald's with being a christian? what a phony. or worse, I think trisha is one of those sad girls who never bothers to question anything.
must be nice to live in the close-minded christian, white bubble where everything is perfect and you never have to think about others
I find it ironic that the girls attack Parisa for "trying to get with another girl's guy"...but Kelli Anne didn't have a problem flirting with Dunbar and the girls don't seem to mind Ashli trying to get with Dunber. Isn't Dunbar "another girl's guy?"
This season is hilarious, 2 people gone already. I have to admit I am totally hooked. I can't wait to see who goes next. If I had my way it definitely would be Dunbar. This guy is a creep. Can't wait for Isaac to come back, he keeps it real.
I definitely lost respect for Kellyanne and Ashli.. seriously Trisha was horrible to Parisa, they had to know it was coming
Isaac and Parisa are probably my favorite roommates
Real World left out the token black and gay person, what were they thinking. Parisa isn't diverse enough. I guess they thought Cohutta would add to the mix, being a hick from down south.
i think trisha is a very immature, ignorant, and noive girl She made herself look so dumd. On the other hand Parisa came out loking like the more mature and clasie person. And omg at the end of the episode Trisha told Parisa " You are nothing" excuse me who dies and made you god what makes you thing you have the right to tell a person that. Its sad Trisha's parents will probobly be very ashamed of her when they see the episode with them being catholic and all. Good for you parisa you defended your self and there is not hing wrong with that!!!!
Parisa is too privileged to be considered the diverse minority. She attended NYU and for those of you who may not know, the majority of those students are wealthy. The tuition is $33,000 a year without room, board and expenses. This brings the total to approximately $50,000 a year. NYU does not offer generous financial aid packages or great scholarships. I know because I was offered admission with a $10,000 scholarship. Subsequently, I chose another prestigious university that gave me much more. Real World should have picked more than one minority this year, especially if they were going to choose someone like Parisa. She is not a true representation of the struggles that most minorities face.
I CANT STAND TRISHA. she makes me mad. she is a poor example of a female. i wonder how she feels when she watches the show and looks back on her actions.
Isaac is the only guy in the house with any sense. He is smart enough not to hook up with any of the girls in the house. Even sweet Cohutta succumbed to Kellyann's charms. As for Dunbar, let's just hope he and Ashley hop on the next plane out of Sydney.
Regardless of her race, she is still a person. A person who would like to live in an environment where she is respected by her roommates. I don't think you can really argue that.
YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO LIVE IN THE HOUSE AND BE TREATED THE WAY SHE WAS, SO I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD JUDGE HER SITUATION OR INTERPRET HOW HARD HER LIFE HAS BEEN OR NOT BEEN.
I agree with pretty much all of these comments. I am on Team Parisa's side for sure! Trisha HAD to go. She's the one with the ugly heart & the other two girls are not that much better.
RESPECT IS EARNED, IT'S NOT A GIVEN. WHEN PARISSA LEARNS TO RESPECT OTHERS, SHE TOO WILL BE RESPECTED...
YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO LIVE IN THE HOUSE AND BE TREATED THE WAY SHE WAS, SO I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD
JUDGE HER SITUATION OR INTERPRET
HOW HARD HER LIFE HAS BEEN OR NOT BEEN.
ISN'T THIS WHAT THIS BOARD IS ALL ABOUT, EXPRESSING ONE'S OPINION. THIS BOARD IS ALL ABOUT JUDGING THE HOUSEMATES, PARISA INCLUDED.
Point taken
12:57 - Respect has to be earned? That's an ignorant comment. Examples: would you scream and shout during a moment of silence and actually try to condone it because the deceased hasn't earned enough of your respect? Could I berate your mother and call her names without having ever met her, and stand by treating her horribly until she "earns enough respect" to be treated as a human being? Your logic is beyond flawed...that's a pretty shitty mentality to have, and it sounds very Trisha-esque. Heck, I don't even know why I wrote this, because I probably have to "earn" the right to disagree with your opinion, too.
IN ORDER TO BE RESPECTED, YOU HAVE TO SHOW RESPECT TO OTHERS, WHICH IS WHERE THE EXPRESSION RESPECT IS EARNED COMES FROM. AS FAR AS THIS BEING AN IGNORANT COMMENT, THAT'S YOUR OPINION AND YOU ARE ENTITLED TO IT.
Is it true that Parisa is releasing a cd soon?????????
This Real World reminds me of some of my sorority sisters in college. We had the shallow Trisha's, the flirty Kellianne's,
the slutty Ashley's and the know-it-all Parissa's. That's probably the reason I can't get enough of this season.
I totally agree that respect has to be earned. This is a common expression that I've heard many times and is so true. When respect is shown to others it is received. It is sad that there will always be people who feel the need to call others ignorant when they don't agree with their opinion. Everyone should try to be more open-minded and tolerant of each other's views.
Anonymous in CAPS...
Is that you Trisha???
If it isn't, you sure do seem to harbor a lot of hate for someone you don't really know...
I liked how Trisha called herself "the bigger person" and then said she "felt sorry for" Parisa. Nice.
OMG grrrlyx, I was going to say the same thing! Trisha, get off this board. You know what you did, you know what kind of person you are, and if you want proof you can go back to mtv.com and watch the re-runs. Stop playing the holier-than-thou role and trying to stick up for yourself through the guise of "anonymous." NOBODY cares that much about someone they do not know to keep arguing on their behalf on some blogger board.
Trisha, we found you out, now admit that you are wrong and politely step off this board- or at least stop posting as anonymous.
A couple thoughts:
Respect, love and trust isn't something that is 'earned.' It's something you give. There-in lies the heartache, and headache.
If all of you, us, who are on Team Parisa really want to support her -and represent, then stop acting, talking, expressing - like Trisha did on the show.
Enough of the name-calling and trash mouth. Parisa, in her young years, set a really great example to follow.
Let's do so, too.
What great example did Parisa set.Can it be leaving her drawers behind while she slutted it up at the club or maybe it was when she told Trisha that she needed a d--k up her p---y. Emulating Parisa is not what any of the young viewers should do. If you like her so much, try hanging out with her. One word of advice though, leave your man at home. Her history speaks for itself.
I love how most of the people who are against Trisha have real legitimate reasons for why they are...like the fact she uses physical violence and calls people "fat" at a moments notice. Pathetic comments a 12 year old would make.
Then notice the Parissa haters. All they can come up with is she's a "muslim whore"..something that has nothing to do with anything. Petty name calling versus intelligent reasons why you dislike someone.l Id say Trisha haters are reasonable people. And the Parissa haters are ignorant, dumb hicks and trash!!! DOWN WITH TRISHA!!!P.S. Some Christian! Would a Christian use violence?
GOOD BYE TRASHA....ENJOY YOUR FLIGHT! hahahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I love how Trasha tried to get in a last word but Parisa trumped her with the "Enjoy your Flight" and "Take Care" response. PARISA FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kelly Ann is a class act. I only wish she spit on Parisa instead of the window.
Well, I’ve been watching this show way too long. I had just finished college when the first season is on, so do the math. It is my one TV guilty pleasure, but now it is less and less pleasurable.
In the first season every character other than Eric was exceptional in some way – an artist or activist. The show took on racism and homophobia before hardly any mainstream television did. It was genuinely groundbreaking. As others have pointed out, San Francisco also had impressive characters. After that the depth lowered and fluctuated. The party scene took over completely during Vegas, and the characters became increasingly shallow after that, as did the choice of storylines. (Rare bright lights like Melissa, Coral, Alton, conroversial Ruthie, or the under-used Jacquese became increasingly rare.) It feels like the producers just don’t care anymore – they are just filling up time and going for the easiest lowest-common denominator. But look at Run's House. That show caught my eye and is popular because it has vibrant likable characters. BMP doesn't get what they first got right with the Real World and now have, at least mostly, wrong.
In this cast there are three potentially interesting characters while the rest signify everything the the world loathes about Americans: they are shallow, materialistic, unimaginative, completely lacking empathy. To date the season focuses on the shallow ones. Think how different it would be with smart, struggling young people genuinely trying to learn about themselves and life. Conflict wouldn't arise from mere cruelty, but by being challenged. (The miraculous friendship of Coral and The Miz is a great example.)
Here are my thoughts on the current cast and a plea to producers:
Dunbar: Again a meathead character whose temper is scary, is cowardly, and not self aware. He has treated Parisa horribly, despite the fact they actually did seem to have some level of friendship. He clearly loves Julie, but is not equipped to have a healthy relationship and the cheating was inevitable from day one. I think he has the potential to physically hurt a woman. Why, producers, is there a meathead each season? All this achieves is affirming America is full of meatheads. (We know, we know!)
Trisha: It goes without saying that the banality of this person, her arrogance, ignorance, and wasted privilege and hyprocrisy is probably not matched by few, if any, prior cast members. (And oh so many of them have been banal.) It's interesting how she’s taking a beating on these forums because it’s deserved. I hope MTV doesn't interpret the reaction to Trisha as “People like Trisha are good for ratings” but instead hear that “We are SICK of you plastering the shallowest of America’s youth on a show that used to take risks with diversity and ideas.”
Ashli: It is too unfortunate to articulate. Why did they choose to replace one shallow girl with another? For “Mean Girl” ratings? It would have been a more brave and interesting choice to bring in a more diverse cast member and offer another perspective. I cringed when she joined and I saw and heard her actions. She is very young, but her emotional immaturity is astounding.
Shauvon: I saw no malice in this girl. Rather she was nice but vain and dull. Not dumb necessarily, but someone who desperately needed to be de-Barbied and exposed to some feminist theory! This need not take away from her compassion or even her femininity, but Shauvon, even though it is there, you made your brain play second fiddle to your body and hair, which was all fake. Why fake, fake, fake? (Were she and Parisa still friends at the end? That is unclear.)
Kelly Anne: It would have been interesting watching her in a cast where the majority of them challenged her and she had to work to keep up. She might have grown. Instead, she is not being asked to grow at all by being thrust with girls even more narcissitic then she. They have brought out her ugly side, seen in every utterance throughout the episode (and much of the season). Will she ever fully understand how ugly the behavior is and how it is not excused by being drunk or mad? Maybe she will grow from this. At least she has enough sense to prefer Cohutta to Dunbar.
Cohutta: MTV made an interesting choice here. This young man is obviously clever and unique. Sadly, we see little of him and I would have liked to have known whether he stood up for Parisa at all, despite his concise assessment of her dilemma. He seems open enough, but it would have been interesting to see contend with some real diversity. Sadly, it seems like the allure of Kelly Anne is dumbing him down too. Hopefully there is more than meets the eye. They are cute together, or rather they were till her spitting. At this point, that makes anyone associating with her look very, very bad.
Isaac: Well, we all have hope for Isaac. He made a smart choice with Noirin, which was good to see after his mysoginistic rant at Shauvon. I too hope he shakes things up next week. Calling him mature might be an overstatement, but he is smart enough, and enough of a freethinker, to see past Kelly Anne and Ashli (and the whipped boys Dunbar and Cohutta.) I hope he is not just an ally to Parisa but exposes the middle-school nonsense for what it is. He is a complex emough character, and one with enough sides (good and bad) and ambitions to be worthy of the show. So far he, like Cohutta, has been under-utilized. I hope that changes.
Parisa: Insecure and strong. Abrasive and analytical. Easily taken advantage of but able to dig in to find her inner strength. Relatively wordly, but still naive. (How, how, how on earth could she have liked Dunbar???) Self-involved, but ready to be caring when she lets down her guard. In short though, she is an NYC graduate with ambitions to sing and is the kind of cast member RW should aspire towards. Sadly, by paring her with these insipid girls, they have set her up to have her set up as a pariah and a victim. Let her have worthy struggles and more meaningful learning experiences. How about living with a more conservative muslim? BMP, don’t have token diversity; allow real diversity to interact to show how complex it is. (To your credit you did that with two very different black male characters last season, who struggled to identify with each other.)
If I had been in casting I might have kept Parisa, Isaac and Cohutta, not cast Shauvon and never, ever even consider the stunningly vapid Trisha and Ashli. I might cast Kelly Anne, but only if the other three were diverse and interesting enough to challenge everyone, so she most of all, would have to grow.
I want to see this episode in coralvision...
Docthunder,
I agree with your assesment of the show. I feel that Parissa, Cohutta and Isaac are the only 3 that I would leave on the show. I think the idea of a more conservative muslim would be a great choice. It would be very interesting to see how Parisa would handle this situation. Would she embrace him/her or be judgemental. Seeing Cohutta and Isaac interacting in this setting would also be worth watching. Throw in three others with diverse backgrounds and you have a show that is not only interesting, but educational as well. One more thing, give these people real jobs or community service projects. Something that will inspire them. Rewarding them with yet another free vacation is ludicrous.
Why is it that it is always the beautiful, smart, talented girls that are the most needy.
I think they should of stuck parisa with a mature cast instead of high school girls but hey there is always the real world road rules challagne for her anyway if trash goes on a challacnge I hope the vet women send her home first or keep her all season and treathat girl like shit so she crys like awhinmy bitch
From what I've seen of her on the show, Parisa does not seem like someone I would like under ordinary circumstances. But I really think that if she had been put on an earlier season, back when the people were mature and had so much more depth, her good traits would have shone. It seems to me like this season has brought out the worst in her...
I love Issac, he just tells it all like it is . . . the "no one liked Tricia" comment on the preview, priceless.
I finally saw the show tonight. I was surprise that Kelly Ann turned on Parisa and spit on the window. Regardless of who said what to whom first, last or whenever, Trisha took it to another level where it didn't need to go when she pushed Parisa. Mature adults don't shove each other other words. That is what uncivilized people do. You can't put your hands on someone and think a simple apology will suffice.
Not to mention Parisa could have called the police and had Trisha arrested for assault and battery.
I think it is deplorable that a crime was committed and then Parissa is ostracized by her roommates for taking an action that was within her rights to do. The cast members have a contract and if you break the rules you leave period. I somehow doubt if the shoe were on the other foot Trisha would hesitate in sending Parisa home.
Second, as an avid Real World watcher since the first season in the 90's, I remember other cast members getting sent home for similar actions. Look at the second season of real world if you want to see the first of many. Look at many of the Gauntlet fights i.e. CT punching Davis, then Tina punching Beth. To keep Paris and Trisha together would not have been a good idea. The next altercation between them would have gotten physical and most likely it would have ended with a fist fight.
Trisha showed no remorse in her actions. Her apology to Parisa was not even remotely sincere. Look at Real World Las Vegas and watch Brin's apology to Steven for throwing something at him. Steven gave Brin a second chance because she put herself out there and he saw something in her to give a second chance. Look back at this weeks episode, when someone made the comment that if Trisha stays they can work it out, Trisha was shaking her head "no". After Trisha's behavior and actions I don't blame Parisa for not giving her that chance. Trisha wasn't really sorry so there was nothing for Parisa to accept.
My own opinion of Trisha was confirmed upon her exit. Trisha encouraging others to get Parisa to leave the show and they agreed earnestly to do so. Trisha even in her final moments the lasting impression viewers will have of her are the rude words she said to Parissa. At that point its over and adding more words seems unnecessary and cruel.
If I were in Parisa's shoes I don't know how I would have reacted if someone pushed me to the ground. I can't say I would turn the other cheek and just tell them to leave the house. I really think if that was anyone else Trisha would have been in a real fist fight, especially of she would have tried that mess with someone from the other five boroughs of NYC.
To the comment that Parisa was hooking up with someone that Trisha liked or who liked her. First, that does not condone Trisha's physically assaulting Parissa. The only correlation between the events is the fact that it added to the hostility between them. Doesn't Trisha have a boyfriend? In my opinion marking a man as untouchable territory when she is not even emotionally or physically available to him seems a bit extreme and unrealistic. I'm glad that the drama between Parisa and Trisha is over and hopefully the roommates can move on.
any news on the new roommate?
they make it seem as if there is not going to be one because the episode when Shauvon left, the "Next On" had Ashli on it
i find parisa's personality from the get go rather odd. shes fought with everyone in the house besides cahutta (sp? who cares) and ashli she's avoiding. i'm not saying that i liked trish but she did get along better in the house (besides dummybear and acid trip isaac) than parisa did. are we also forgeting that what brought on the fight was parisa mouthing trisha and her family? how can you find her mature if she brought that on. as for the rest of the season we now have to put up with no personality parisa, and dunbar and ashli having sex. not much really.
why couldn't they just go out and drink all the time like previous seasons? the others faired well just partying all the time.
I think it's SO funny that people are saying that Parisa preys on other girls' boyfriends...but what about Asswhore trying to get with Dunbar?
Exactly.
Parisa came into the house with an attitude from the get go. Granted the other girls were immature and bitchy. She could have overlooked that and taught them a lesson or two. Instead she stooped to their level. Her behavior toward the other girls in the house when it came to guys was so needy and desperate on her part. It was actually sad to watch. She didn't have to be best friends with any of these girls, but an attempt to understand them and get along would have served her well. There are plenty of people in this world that I have nothing in common with and quite frankly, don't like, but I do my best to get along. I feel Parisa was much too judgemental.
9:34 - I don't think Parisa owes those three wenches much of anything.
I would never attempt to get along with those whores. What should she have done differently? Submit to their immaturity and let them walk all over her for the sake of getting along?
Parisa is just as immature as the other girls. Remember her talking to shavon about not wanting to be kelly's babysitter. What the hell was that about?
I don't understand how these girls found it so hard to get along. It's easy, tell Trisha she looks good, tell Kellianne she's classy, tell Ashley she's sexy and tell Parisa she's right. How difficult is that.............
It's obvious Parisa does not know how to relate to other girls her age. She doesn't know how to be a true friend. She was 100% wrong when it came to the situation with Alex and Trisha. It's none of her business if Trisha had a boyfriend at home, that was Trisha's business. By flinging herself at Alex, she just showed how she didn't give a shit about Trisha. She's so strange, she just doesn't know how the female species is supposed to act. I lost all respsect for her after that.
Trisha tried harder than Parisa. Remember the infamous scene in the bar with Parisa and Alex in the bathroom. Parisa was disgustingly drunk and it was Trisha that offered to take her home, only to be met with Parisa yelling at her. I thought that was very big of Trisha considering how Parisa was behaving with Alex.
Yes, Trisha may not be the most respectable person in this world. She may not be the most religious either, but Parisa is not perfect either. Props to Trisha for standing up to Parisa and not letting her always play the victim. I agree that Parisa may be more mature than the other houseguests, but she knew going in she would be placed with other people "under her level" so to speak. Parisa was to blame for this whole situation, yes, Trisha did push her, and did deserve to go home, but the whole fight was Parisa's fault. Also, all you people need to lighten up. All you do is bitch about how bad of a person Trisha is and while doing so, you look just as bad if not worse than her, so shut up. Get over it.
Trisha doesn't know how to be a compassionate, kind, sweet or understanding friend.
She only knows how to be a friend through intimidation and bullying.
She has a life ahead of her filled with spite and anger and judgement. All of which, she brought on herself.
She needs to show true remorse for her awful actions and treatment of Parisa.
If I were Trisha I wouldn't show Parisa the time of day. I really wish Trisha would have punched the shit out of her, she definitely had it coming.
In what way was Parisa ever nice to Trisha? Please name one.
I only wish Dunbar would have given Parisa what she wanted from day 1. This could have all been avoided. It would have kept the slut happy........
Check out this clip about Ashlii on Youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsUSxjbo5fs&feature=related
I think Parisa was nice to Trisha when she treated Trisha like an adult and tried to discuss things like an adult.
It was Trisha who took every opportunity Parisa gave her to rise above conflict and turned it into anger, retaliation and meanness.
Please give an example, besides saying she treated her like an adult because I totally missed it.
Parisa a slut??? Oh come on.
Trasha was the one hooking up while she had a boyfriend and while declaring her Christianity.
Um. Last I checked, Trasha cheated on her boyfriend and lied about it.
Parisa is a grown woman with nothing to be ashamed of....so what if she wanted to makeout with a guy at a bar? She has the freedom to do that.
Trasha, didn't.

Trisha didn't sleep with Alex and if she wanted to cheat on her boyfriend that was her business, nobody elses. Parissa didn't just want to make out at the bar, she wanted to make out with Alex. Big difference. Did she ever think for a minute that that would piss Trisha off. Who the helll needs a pig like this as a roomie.....
Sure Parisa is a single female, who can chose as she pleases, but if she was so mature, why would she try to take alex from trisha?
straight from kellyanne's myspace:
"As far as the Parisa spit thing goes, I was drunk, angry and had fights with her multiple times before. But that's no excuse for acting like a inmature bully, I shouldn't have been like that, i know it, i messed up"
How the fuck does she know what immature means if can't even fuckin spell/pronounce the word
She also removed the part that said that she didn't even know that Parisa was in the phone room when she was spitting....bc she knew that was a lie
So much could have been gained by having a female muslim on the show. There are many viewers who have no clue about this culture. In an age of terrorism, it would be so beneficial to learn more about this culture and to learn that it is a culture that does not condone hatred. Instead, what did we get from Parisa, another slut chasing after any guy that shows interest in her roommates. Having Trisha was much more beneficial. It shows that there are many young girls in society today who are pampered and really have a lot of growing up to do. Parisa turned out to be such a waste. She was a whiny backstabber.
I get the feeling that Trisha has been posting comments on this blog.
Just wondering...why is Trisha still in the opening credits?
The last time someone left on this show and was NOT replaced, they took them out of the opening credits and said, "This is the True Story...of Six Strangers..." I'd be dating myself if I said what season that was.
Like her or not, maybe we haven't heard the last of Trisha...she may not return to the show but maybe she makes frequent calls to the house and/or turns up in Sydney (visitng) at some point. I'll keep my opinions about Trisha to myself (no one cares anyway) but you gotta admit...without her, there won't be as much drama and the show might get pretty dull.
Yeah, I think Trasha is leaving comments here herself, under anonymous.
LAME. Oh, so over this. I'm gone.
Hope this Trasha fake christian slut does not show up on a reunion show.
Re: 1:12...you look worse than Trisha, did not think it was possible, congrats!
I don't know what the big deal was over that push. I've seen more pushing and shoving on kindergarten playgrounds. If you look closely enough, it seems that Parisa took a dive. I find it hilarious that some people refer to this as an assault. Please!!!If Parisa ever called the police they would have locked her up in the looney bin where she belongs.
Rumor has it that Ashley is next on Parisa's shit list. She's pissed because Ashley screws Dunbar. The same Dunbar who rejected every one of Parisa's advances, including the very pathetic letter she wrote him.
Where are the Parisa supporters to come up with one example of parisa being nice to Trisha. Something specific that she said or did that was nice. It's a shame that Trisha had to be subjected to this bitch. I wouldn't be able to spend 2 minutes in the room with her without slapping the shit out of her.
Parisa is so analytical and judgemental that I would not be able to put up with her either, its obvious that she is the problem in the house when you think that she has been in a fight with EVERYONE in the house minus cohutta and issac..
It a not a fan of either of the two;however, I feel like Parisa brought this upon herself. Trisha did not handle the situation accordingly and Parisa had a right to send her home, despite the fact that the push was little to nothing, it is obvious that Parisa felt physically and emotionally threatened by Trisha. If Parisa was as mature and stable as most people on this board are claiming, she would not have been in this situation in the first place. So I have to say Parisa was in the wrong. I also feel like in a way Trisha was more beneficial as a roommate to this season then Parisa because Trisha opened the viewer's eyes to the fact that our country is severely spoiled and bratty.
I think it is so comical that some people truly believe that Trisha is coming onto this board to talk herself up and defend her actions. She has better things to do then stoop down to the level of people bashing her.
Parisa is hateful and mean. I'm glad that Trisha and her are not living under the same roof. Parisa was about to snap. Trisha is lucky to be out of that nuthouse. I just feel sorry for the other roommates who have to now deal with the aftermath. Parisa is impossible to reason with.
WE could be learning about a different culture like we did Mike and Coral's racial tension in Back to New York, or the chick's anorexia in Key West season. Instead we have people conjuring up assuming things before we actually know. Or assuming based on what they believe to know as if its the only way.
MATURE people reach a common ground rather than wasting breath to persuade another's way of thinking.
Both were in the wrong.
It's been said by Dunbar and Isaac that neither like Trisha. But none have admitted this to her face... So you have 3 people out of 5 that have admitted on camera that they don't favor this roommate.
That tells me that there is most likely a good reason to why people aren't liking your personality in your own house.
PLUS, there are HUGE communication issues in the house; no one brings up or agrees with Parisa on how mean Dunbar can except for his own girlfriend.
No one placed themselves in Parisa shoe's at the house meeting... along with the fact that no one admits their real feelings to people i.e. not telling Trisha when she asks how one feels about her as a being.
Parisa was the most reasonable female until she felt the need to lower her standards. So, she is in the fault as well. At the same time, I empathize because Trisha kept instigating and being stubborn when Parisa wanted to come to a common ground in several agruments.
And these female rules are fucking ri-dic-ulous!!!! (for example when Shauvon said Parisa was siding with the boys...jus because she told them what happened b/t her and Alex..it isnt even your situation Shauvon! And they are roommates.. who isnt gonna confide in a roommate, especially if 3 others of the same gender arent talking to you...)
In the Parisa-Alex-Trisha situation..
If you have boyfriend then act like you do. Whether Alex was her friend first or not, it doesn't mean he is your territory when you are ALREADY SOMEONE ELSE'S.
Just some thoughts of mine. Thanks
The larger issue is that despite the drama stirred up om these boards, MTV consciously squandered an opportunity to have an interesting show with diverse characters. I can't wrap my mind around the choice to cast FOUR ridiculously superficial and uneducated WASP or Catholic girls (two with Barbie died hair) - and then pair them with ONE girl who is better educated and Muslim. Surely, after multiple intervews with these girls, they knew this was a complete set-up. It offends me that it comes at a time when there is so much ignorance about the Muslim religion and Persian people.
We should be learning about diverse world's coming together and trying to understand each other (even if that means fighting and partying together), and not be subjected to a bad re-make of Mean Girls.
Those who are pointing out Parisa's shortcomings are missing the point. Yes, Parisa is flawed, attention-seeking, a bit condescending. On many occasions she let herself be dragged to Trisha's level against her better judgement. But violence of any kind is unacceptable. What Trisha did is beyond the pale and the little brats who support her violent and smarmy actions are loathsome. SPITTING? It baffles me how people who have recently jumped in here are flippant about what is clearly ergregious behavior.
This season will be worth something if the two remaining brats learn their lesson and learn it hard. Parisa is being surprisingly strong in the aftermath (I am much older than her and very impressed), but she can not do this alone. Isaac is putting it in perspective, but the girls should not be let off the hook. Clearly another character should have been sent in to add another perspective, but I hear they are sticking with six, three of whom are complete duds.
Please MTV, stop filling your cast with air heads. I am a college teacher and there are TONS of interesting, complex young people from all races out there. We are at an important time in history where we can't keep being the worst of ourselves. Young people watch this. Challenge young people like you did in the early years. Stop casting the lowest common denominator, because you and your show are coming to represent that very thing.
BMP, though you created reality TV, many shows that have more integrity (like the Bravo shows or Run's House) and are leaving you in the dust.
Parisa may be better educated and Muslim, but this does not make her superior to the other girls in the house. Her behavior on this show speaks for itself. She acted just as bad, if not worse. Parisa spoke down to Trisha every chance she could. She NEVER did anything nice for Trisha. The sad reality is Parisa appears to be an angry person who cannot recognize her faults. She's a narcicist. This girl would find fault with Mother Theresa if she was alive and in that house. Real World made a hugh mistake with this one, she gave viewers no insight whatsoever into what it's like to be a young muslim woman in today's society. Instead she came off as angry, stubborn and shallow.
Being educated does not make you smart. Prime example here. The fights between Parisa and Trisha were juvenile and plain dumb. Someone watching for the first time would never be able to pick out who was the most educated of the two. They both looked like morons.
Instead of throwing Trisha out of the house, it would have been better to see if these two girls could have come to some sort of compromise. The house meeting was useless, it should have been Parisa and Trisha, with a mediator. It's a great lesson in diplomacy. The final decision would ultimately still be Parisa's. I would have loved to see the two of them iron things out.
If only the girls in the house could have accepted each other for who they were, they might of actually learned to like each other. No one human being is superior to another. Both Trisha and Parisa were too stubborn to give each other a chance. They are more alike than not.
"Parisa is hateful and mean. I'm glad that Trisha and her are not living under the same roof. Parisa was about to snap."
Um did I just miss something. Who was the one who said "You're nothing". Sounds like a pretty hateful statement. Oh yah, last time I checked Trishole said it. Oh yah, and lat time I checked Trasha was the one who snapped.
God forbid someone want to send someone home who is hateful and snaps. But me, I guess I understand logic. Something that poster doesn't seem to have a grasp on..
I agree with the above comments, though the casting choices were really strange and unbalanced.
Of course, being Muslim and educated does not make Parisa "better," but does make her the odd person out with a bunch of girls who have similar upbrining, cultures, and (very small)world-views.
The recent posters do not seem to see that Trisha demonstrated racism on this show and therefore have probably not experienced it or know how to recognize it.
Do you really think Trisha who told her parents she was NOT sorry and parted with more vicious words would have tried to change? Perhaps, but nothing indicates this, and there is no reason for Parisa to give her the benefit of the doubt. The girls responsed like imbeciles and literally terrorized her. I consider the spitting a physical threat as well.
I am not advocating for Parisa so much as expressing disapointment in the show for its missed opportunities and for representing this generation with a meathead guy and four meathead girls. The one girl, with insecurities and cultural difference, is put in an impossible situation.
Isaac will clearly have a heroic moment in the next episode and no one says it better than him, "Tell me one thing you like about Trisha..."
Errr...
She sent herself home and MTV needs new casting directors pronto.
Trisha is a girl who lacks curiousity and empathy. Maybe she had a very troubled past. Her ignorant words and arrogant behavior suggest something is deeply wrong with this girl, or worse, she is genuinely a person with no soul.
She reminds me of all these corrupt bible thumpers in our government who hate gay marriage and are so sensitive to difference. Meanwhile they cheat on their wives, pick up men in bathroom, and steal government funds. In other words, she hides her bad behavior behind her clammering on about Christianity.
Interestingly, I never heard Parisa mention her religion at all. She was who she was, good or bad. Her attitude was much more take-me-as-I-am. She was strong enough to stand alone.
Oh, how I wish the two brats left over learn from what they see of themselves on TV. They behave so immaturaly and as such clique that their growth, if it ever happens, will take a very long time.
Why were the two boys such whimps? I know Dunbar is demented. I guess Cohutta didn't want to get involved or compromise his relationship with KellyAnne. But for someone who claims to have principles this was disapointing.
Even though I found Parisa irritating on the show, she really held her own after the push. We didn't see her curl up into a ball and sob or get physical back. She dusted herself off after the bad behavior and DID demonstrate strength and class. Look into your heart and ask yourself if you could do it. I would find it very hard.
i cant believe dunbar finally gave in and had sex with ashli.
I can believe it. He's been looking like he was gonna bust the whole time on the show. I'm baffled that Julie doesn't dump him. Hopefully she will after the next episode.
Trasha is definately racist. Shauvon was all make-up and fake boobs. Ashli is gross. Kelly is a childish brat, a follower, and has a real mean streak. When Parisa referred to her "erratic personality" that was an understatement.
Are the boys better? Yes, but not Dumbar. He's a cheater. He's self-delusional, and has serious anger management problems.
I want to see more of Isaac and Cohutta. They seem like so much more fun and so much more interesting than these other numnutts.
Parisa didn't dust herself off after she was pushed. She whined to KellyAnn to keep her away. Parisa accomplished exactly what she wanted. She pushed Trisha to the breaking point. In the end, she got her way. I hope when she sees herself on these episodes, she can fully understand that yes Parisa, you too, did not behave so great. Parisa's classic line during a fight with Trisha had to be, "hey Trisha do you want a dick in your pussy". If that doesn't say it all, I really don't know what else does. The most vulgar comment ever heard on Real World or for that matter any show on television. Nice going Parisa, you're one intelligent, educated, young lady... It's a shame you haven't been shown the door yet.
Parisa is the biggest skank in the house, hands down.
With all the man-chasing Parisa did, you think the pig would have gotten laid. Even Dunbar, who has the I.Q. of a stone and the morals of an alley cat wouldn't do her.
What ever Trasha go away and stop leaving comments here.......
Okay Parisa, I will do as you say.
Parisa did let herself get dragged to Trisha's level on several occasions. That would make me cringe. But look at this this way. Parisa acted badly when she had nothing in common with the girls. Trisha acted WORSE when she *did* have things in common with the girls and a support system in the house. Her goal from the first show was always to alienate Parisa, who admittedly should have taken the high road more often then she did.
BUT that still doesn't changed some BASIC FACTS.
Trisha pushed Parisa. It is in the contract not to get physcial. Trisha ran at her like a wild crazy person. In response, Parisa yelled, but did NOT push Trisha.
After that most unpleasant person left, KellyAnne and whats-her-name SPIT towards Parisa. That is the ultimate disrespect. Parisa on the other hand remained calm and did NOT spit.
You can a valid beef with Parisa or not like her, but the situation about sending Trisha home is cut and dry. Parisa was physcially attacked. No matter what you think of the push, it was agressive and physical. It's AGAINST THE CONTRACT.
MTV should have sent Trisha home with no further words. Parisa at least gave them a chance to change her mind. If everyone had empathized and told her how screwed up Trisha was, and that they had Parisa's back's for the future, maybe she would have chose to let her stay. It looked to me like she left a small window of opportunity to make sure she was doing the right thing by sending Trisha home. But even when given the opportunity, all she got was less than zero empathy from these morons.
Parisa is flawed like most of us, but these other girls are as clueless and pathetic as any I have seen.
The only person who might do Parisa in that house is Isaac on an acid trip.
Man, it really does seem like Trisha and her posse are leaving comments here. Notice how she had NO support, and now there are all these pathetic attempts at support which use no logic, but Trisha tactics -- calling Parisa names.
"Have a nice flight."
Parisa made up her mind before the meeting. She admitted that herself. She just wanted to see if the other roommates could put themselves in her shoes and feel her pain, something to that effect.
Isn't a pity, all the Parisa name calling on this board, and not one negative comment about Trisha. So one-sided and so Parisa.
I give Trisha a lot of credit for holding out as long as she did. Parisa singing in the shower would have been it for me. I would have gagged the talentless bitch.
Are you people morons? She pushed her! Nothing else matters. Don't you get that? Is physical agression how you go around solving your problems>
Yeah, if I was in the house I'd want to cause physical harm on someone like Trisha, for being boring so cruel and petty and vapid and shallow... BUT I WOULDN'T DO IT. I might have even wanted to shove Parisa for droning on and on. ...BUT I WOULDN'T DO IT... I'd definately want to drop kick that moron Dunbar but, again, I WOULDN'T DO IT.
Earth to the Trisha posse: Physically attacking another human being is a CRIME. It *doesn't matter* what you think of that person. Attacking someone is not on the table as an option.
What part of this equation do you not understand?
Get it through your thick head already, it was more like a tap. Watch it again, Parisa tripped over herself or lost her balance, whatever, she's a clutz to boot.
Trasha aka "the unfortunate conception" is going to have a lot of backpedaling to do at the reunion...I hope they give her the Frankie treatment! (RIP, though)
It's human nature to fight. You see this in small babies when they push or kick each other, and even in the womb, when the fetus kicks, etc. I do not condone violence of any sort, but I am not judging Trisha because she shover Parisa. Honestly though, I have been pushed harder then that and have been able to stand up. Parisa is an over-exaggerator and I wouldn't be surprised if she made herself fall. So all of you people you are saying Trisha is a horrible, sick person because she "pushed" Parisa need to wake-up. Can you honestly tell me you've never touched another person. Also, wanting to hurt someone is just as bad as hurting someone...its just like being at the scene of a crime even if you did not commit it.
This converstion is insane. I can't believe these lines:
"It's human nature to fight. You see this in small babies when they push or kick each other, and even in the womb, when the fetus kicks, etc."
Okay, you are talking about children, not an adult. Adults learn morals, empathy, and appropriate behavior. Mature adults without mental problems do NOT push. If YOU do think this is the way to handle a situation, you are heading to jail sooner or later.
"Can you honestly tell me you've never touched another person."
Yes, I can honestly tell you that since as a teen or ADULT, I have never pushed another person and never will. I'm sure a lot of people on this board will agree.
"Also, wanting to hurt someone is just as bad as hurting someone...its just like being at the scene of a crime even if you did not commit it."
Say what? Wanting to hurt someone is NOT the same? What rubbish! If you want to hurt someone and don't then THE PERSON IS NOT HURT and you don't have to suffer the consequences. Even if Parisa WANTED to hurt Trisha, she did not, because at least she is mature enough to understand the consequences.
You see, this is something called IMPULSE CONTROL. And an adult who has not learned it is emotional and intellectual stunted and must pay the consequences.
"Parisa is an over-exaggerator and I wouldn't be surprised if she made herself fall."
Dude, we all saw it. Trisha RAN cursing down the hallway like a crazy person, pushed Parisa, who lost her balance and was obviously shocked. It doesn't matter whether she was hurt or not. This behavior is ILLEGAL and it is in the contract to not get physical.
To defend Trisha's actions is deplorable, no matter what you think of Parisa. You are defending an illegal act and blaming the victim of a physical attack.
And believe me, someone capable of such lack of self-control is fully capable of doing it again. Parisa's decision is a no-brainer and you, by defending Trisha violence, come across as a very disturbed person.
The reason why Trisha was not automatically thrown off the show was because she didn't hit or punch theresa. It was a light push at best. If a real attack occured it would have not been left up to Parisa. There would have been no choice to make but have her removed immediately.
I wish people would stop treating Trisha as if she's OJ or something. STop making a mountain out of a molehill.
The only excitement this season has been the Parisa/Trish feuds. The rest of the cast have been extremely dull. AS much as I like Cohutta, he's boreing as hell. Isaac is funny, but he's missing in action. Dunbar is a total dud. That leaves the two middle school girls and Parisa.
Terrible casting this season. The girls are very childish, its pathetic. The guys are completely edited out so we can watch a rerun of mean girls.
IMO Parissa has continuously been the bigger person. And im glad Trisha only walked away with free complimentary airline peanuts.
I thoroughly read many of the posts, and i realized many of the posts supporting Trisha have the same style of writing. Trisha your friends need to stop flooding these forums. Posting numerous responses under the mysterious anonymous isn't going to help you garner support. Grow Up!
I think all the girls on this show give girls a bad name. Fighting over boys, professing love for their boyfrieds at home, yet hopping into bed with anyone who will have them. Trisha and Shauvron were the worst with that. Then Kelly Anne getting upset because her boyfriend was seen with a girl back home, while she's making out with Dunbar in the hot tub and cuddling in bed with both of them. What guy would trust any one of them. What low self esteem they must have because attention from boys is their only self worth. At least Parisa didn't have a boyfriend and to me it was fair game to go after any guy including the ones Shauvron, Kelly Anne, and Trisha wanted. Parisa didn't profess any love for the boy back home. What hypocrites these girls are. They don't know the first thing about love, fidelity, or loyalty. Trisha yaps on and on about Christianity, she should keep her mouth shut because she is no expert on that topic either. She has no love for anyone including herself or her family. The guys in this show have it way more together than these immature girls do. Shauvron went after Isaac the first day and he dumped her and then she got all hateful towards Isaac. Kelly Ann went after Dunbar and when he didn't want her, she went after Cohutta. And Cohutta knows she is a mess who just gets drunk and kisses anyone available. Trisha is just mean to everyone and Parissa tries at least to be a friend until everyone takes advantage of her. Then she gives up and acts like girls gone wild. Dunbar can be scary with his anger issues. I feel sorry for whoever he marries. Although it does seem like he does loves Julie in his sick way. Temptation rules and of course he messes up. Ashli is ridiculous going after him knowing he has a girlfriend. Go after a guy who doesn't have a girlfriend. There are plenty in this world. That is sick...no boundaries for her. Sex is so free. It should be sacred act giving yourself to someone. Not her. Slut is the word. She gets off on guys wanting her for sex. Isaac is strange, but I think as he gets older he will get his head together. At least he stays out of this hornets nest. Cohutta is the best of the bunch, but he sure didn't stick up for Parissa. At least Dunbar was kind to her and said he was glad she got rid of Trisha. That showed the nicest side of Dunbar yet. I hope Cohutta isn't siding with Kelly Anne and getting all stupid acting like her. It takes one to know one. This is definetly a strange cast.
yah the whole concept of saying "it was no big deal, it was a light push" is un-fucking-believable. It does not matter how "light" the push was. ALL THAT MATTERS IS SHE PUT HER HANDS ON SOMEONE.
A normal, stable person does not need to put their hands on another person. We aren't talking about being 12 years old. We are talking about being ADULTS.
No one has a right to put their hands on another. I wouldn't want to be around a person without self control either.
There's no way to argue this. It's not a matter of me liking Trisha or hating Parisa. Or hating Trisha and liking Parisa. The FACTS remain:
If you put your hands on someone else: YOU GO HOME.
I think all(or the same 1-2) of the PRO TRISHA people posting are missing the point that we are not are not hating on her just CAUSE OF THIS ONE INCIDENT!!
THIS WAS THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMELS BACK!!
this just proove all our belief about her all along.
She's evil. The fact that she drags her Christianiy beliefs in all it, makes her ever a worse person.
Trisha and Parisa both behaved horribly. But then again, how old are they? As they mature, let's hope that they learn to deal with conflicts in a more constructive way. They both need to control their tempers. Watching them argue was like watching an episode of Jerry Springer. Both girls disgust me.
When the most normal person in the house is the acid- tripping Isaac, you know that the casting people messed up.
To call Trisha evil is so juvenile. Evil is a word reserved for the likes of people like Hitler, Bin Laden, Jeffrey Dahmer, et al. She's selfish, petty, immature and not too bright, but calling her evil is a stretch.
I don't like any of the cast right now...
I can see Parisa maturing into a classy smart person, the potential's there, she just needs to grow up a little more...
In Tricia, however, I see nothing... she's probably always going to be the same self-centered manipulative person
Issac's smart enough, but he needs to get off whatever drug he's on
I think Dunbar has a good heart buried really really far in there... but he definetly has anger issues that he needs to deal with.
Ashli, get over sex.
Kelly Ann needs to grow up and learn to follow herself instead of someone else. I think she has a good heart too.
Cuhutta seems nice enough
There has to be more to this cast then what we've seen. Too much air time was wasted on tricia and Parisa. As far as Cohutta, all that's really known is he's a country boy. Isaac did acid and sees black birds and likes Norine.
Ashley likes sex, Dunbar likes Julie, Kellyann likes Cohutta, Tricia likes herself and Parisa likes nobody.
I prefer Kid Nation to this show. Children aged nine to fourteen running a town on their own and resolving all conflicts that come there way. If only the Real World cast could act as maturely.
Let's just look at the whole situation about the phone. After Trisha got off the phone with her boyfriend, she walks over to Parissa and says that the phone is available. Parissa thanks Trisha, and was about to get up. However, being Trisha, she just had to get the last word.
She then went off and started saying that Parissa's parents were calling nonstop and started mouthing off about the situation. Was there a need for this? Therefore, I believe that Parissa handled the situation with class.
Regarding the push. Sure, i saw the situation. Trisha ran towards Parissa like some psycho, but the push was slight which caused an off balance and unexpecting Parissa to fall to the ground. If Parissa were standing on both feet, I doubt that she would have fell. However, in the contract that all Real Worlders signed, physical violence is not allowed, no matter how light or severe. Trisha pushed Parissa, Trish crossed the line. End of story.
How Parissa handled the situation after the push was not that great. The cursing and swearing and telling Kelly Ann to keep Trisha away so that she could calm herself down. However, reach deep within, and tell me that you would not have done the same. Would you walk back into your room and start reading a book calmly after a situation like that? I wouldn't.
Regarding the comment that stated that Parissa never did anything nice. What about cooking for the roommates? And i might be wrong about this, but didn't Parissa clean the kitchen by herself before?
Anyways, going on. It's hard to get a conservative muslim to be on a show like this. It would be good if one were to be on so that it would give people a better understanding of them, but i doubt that it would ever happen. True muslims are VERY VERY VERY hard to find. Let alone get on the Real World.
Based on what I know, Muslims are not allowed to consume any amount of alcohol (Which is the main cause of all the drama that we get, and the producers think that Drama = Ratings, which is slightly true). They must ONLY eat Halal food, and they're not allowed to eat pork, or have any contact with dogs. Therefore, I would say that it would be rare to find a true Muslim in the US. which probably means that there won't be one since The Real World is only open for US Citizens.
I was disguested with Kelly Ann's and/or Ashli's comment to Parissa after she wanted to send Trisha home. By saying something like: If you send Trisha home, we'll make your life miserable. This showed how immature Kelly Ann and Ashli were. Hopefully, they'll grow from this experience.
Actually, now that Trisha's gone, won't the show get kind of boring? Without all the fighting, would anybody want to watch?
Then again, with Dunbar's upcoming screwup and/or KellyAnne's possible pregnancy, who knows...
I hate Trisha, I wish she would burn in hell for disgracing Christianity and how she treats other people with narrowmindedness. She is worth NOTHING.
In response to the question, "Actually, now that Trisha's gone, won't the show get kind of boring?" I would have to say no, since Trisha was uninteresting. However, if that show has any desire to go beyond immature cat fights, it should create situations that challenge the roomates and give them an opportunity to confront real issues and grow.
I think Isaac, Cohutta, and Parisa are capable of being invovled in more interesting storylines. The jury is out if Kelly Anne and Ashi can do more than gossip, spit, and giggle. I'd love to watch more with Noirin, more interaction with the Sydney population, and see how the roomates can overcome their differences. It is too bad that there was so little shown of their trip abroad.
Remmeber, there is tons a footage. It is the producers and editors who decide on the storylines. For some reason they think we want to see Mean Girls. I for one don't. I only write here to implore producers to restore some integrity to the show in future seasons. Once, this was a compelling and relatively groundbreaking show. There is no reason it has to sink into complacency unless they think we like it that way.
This blog is so awful. It used to be so good... and now it's so slow to update.
you guys really need to be on top of your game
trisha should take a LONG walk off a SHORT pier. THIS would make me happy. =)
she's a bag of rocks.
I think that Dunbar is worse than Trisha. I bet that he has cheated on his girlfriend multiple times, and probally even beat her at one point. He is not classy, and overweight. Get rid of him next!
I don't understand how everyone is so in love with parisa. She is just as immature as the other girls. She is downright rude if she doesn't want to do something and seems to purposely piss people off by not doing what they ask of her. Dunbar asked if they could go to the restaurants and get their work done so that he would have more time to spend with his girlfriend who wasnt going to be there very long and parisa bitches about working out. Learn to compromise and be a civilized individual.
You guys need to evaluate Parisa for who she really is instead of only bashing trisha. They both need to grow up.
Trisha, stop your whining already! Seriously. You physically touched a roommate in a malicious way, and as a consequence you got kicked off. GET OVER IT ALREADY! Way to make us Christians look bad, by the way.
I can't believe how ugly some people on this board are. It is not an issue of whether or not one likes Parisa. It is an issue that Trisha got violent and Kelly spit. These are physcial acts much worse than words. People who brush them off as if they are nothing, and even worse condone them, are psychos themselves.
There should be two Real World shows. One for demented sadistic meatheads who enjoy watching people being degraded and another for people intested in watching seven diverse strangers put in unusal situations where they challenge themselves and each other.
Yes, incidents such as the attack/push by rampaging Trisha are bound to happen now and again, but those of you who see it as no big deal clearly have a big problem.
This was not an attack, a push yeah, but an attack absoultely not.It serves parissa right, she was a bitch and was talking about Trisha to kellyann and Trisha, like most normal people had enough of the bullshit.
hey 6:41 minus the fact that trisha is a pysacho bitch look at past season we are alll always not suppoised to like a certain person trisha is the latest example they want us to like parisa I think and have said if they stuck her around more mature goal oriented people like issac cohuntta and three others who have goals that we would see tyhe mature parisa bnut facts are facts we have this one beacsue the grils are so mot mature
I cannot beleive that Trisha says all that BS about being Christian and them acting out both her and kellyanne. Im sure they are feeling stupid watching the show looking like dumbasses.. Parisa is soo classy and is too mature for All the girls there..
Team parisa..I agree, i get the feeling that TRASHA is on the board..
Why do people here have to start getting ignorant with religion and shit? Its just opinions..Keep it religion FREE..Were just commenting on the board..
TRASHA had a man and if Parisa wanted to make out with Alex, why is Trasha gettin all huffy for?? I wonder what her man (if she still has one) has to say about that shit.Parisa was free to do whatevre SHE wanted no strings attached to neone..
kellyanne needs to grow up..Its obvious why MTV picked her ass to be on the show..Naive, Dumb, Whorish..Thats what MTV wants/needs..
Ashli DO YOU HAVE A MIND OF YOUR OWN? Your embarrassing to us girls..They portrayed you to be like sum dog in heat and Dunbar, my friend, is FuGLY..
Shavon was some big boobed overdramatic chic that instigated alot of Trisha's Bullshit..
TEAM PARISA
Hi all. It is good to hear so many on this board have good common sense and values. That said my jaw dropped with digust when I read this:
"Christians don't attack Muslims, it's the other way around....."
If there was ever a crock of racist BS, there it is folks. That is ugly and that is why so many people around the world think Americans are ignorant scum. This comment is even worse than anything Trisha ever said.
By the way, this very show disproves your racist point. Who pushed someone? A Muslim or a Christian? Why it was a Christian! Who spit, a Muslim or a Christian? Why it was a Christian!
Bottom line though, people are people, individuals, no matter their race or religion. If you don't know that by now, join a sect somewhere away from the rest of society or be Sean Hannity's shoe shine.
12:55 , couldnt have put it better myself!!! Thank you!
Kellyann is a flirt, not a slut. Parisa, on the other hand would have done both Dunbar and Alex, if given the chance. Now that's the real slut of the house.
I saw Parisa tonight, singing at a club in NYC! It was so cool! Her singing voice sounds so much better in person - I didn't think she was particularly great when hearing her on the show but now I have a much different (and higher) opinion. Go Parisa!
8:55, what does that make Ashli?
You simply can't call someone who has slept with no one "a slut." I don't like the term period, but if you must use it, it is much more applicable to people who actually slept with someone, or much worse, cheated.
Who knows what Parisa would have done. We do know KellyAnne is a flirt and that Ashli and Dunbar (the true slut) betray someone's trust in a major way during tomorrow's show.
All these people are young. It is easy to get over youthful promiscuity. It is less easy to get over racism and rage. Trisha and Dunbar will have bleak emotional futures. I am not sure about KA and Ashli in the long run, but Isaac, Parisa, and Cohutta have enough else going on that they will probably emerge from this hornet's nest just fine in the long run.
Issac is so awesome! If you visit Parisa's blog, there is a vid of him lip-syncing to "No One" and it is mega-cute! He's currently in a relationship, and his girl is super lucky to be with a down to earth, real guy like him. Best season ever!
Tonight's episode looks like it's going to be a good one. Dunbar actually cheats, and I wonder how the rest of the housemates are going to react. It will give more insight into their views, for a change. Because I for one am sick of all that Trisha and Parisa drama, it's so old already, time to move on and see what everybody else is about.
It's easy to get over youthful promiscuity.
Some people never fully recover from their promiscuous youth. To believe this to be true, is foolish, especially with all the diseases and unwanted pregnancies, not to mention the emotional baggage attached.
check out this interview I just found with Parisa - I CAN'T BELIEVE THE THINGS SHE SAYS!!!!!!
