Cara gets married to Dr. Scott Fudemberg with Kyle in attendance; E! interviews Tyler
Congratulations to Cara (Chicago) on her wedding. The following was posted in a local St. Louis newspaper, the Post Dispatch:
MIDDLE AISLE: More than 250 friends and relatives toasted just-weds Cara Kahn Nussbaum and Dr. Scott Fudemberg at Westwood Country Club on Saturday night. For those who may have forgotten, Cara is the Wash U. grad who starred as the big dater on MTV's "The Real World: Chicago" in 2002. Her dad is former BJC honcho Dr. Sam Nussbaum, who now works as executive vp and chief medical officer at Wellpoint Inc. in Indianapolis, while Mom, Rhoda Kahn Nussbaum, is a lecturer in communication disorders at Fontbonne. The groom's parents are Annette and John Fudemberg. He's prez of Imperial Paper Stock Co. of Bridgeton, and she works at Temple Israel. Among those enjoying the nupts were Kyle Brandt, one of Cara's "Real World" roommates, and the bride's brother, Jeff Nussbaum, who was a speechwriter for Al Gore when Gore was vice president.
Also, Tyler (Key West) did a phone interview that has been posted at E! Online. Check it out.

Jake contacted about BONRS; Kyle and Lori are back together; Frankie does an interview with Prick Magazine
Here's some interesting fodder for the weekend. I got an email from a former castmember who was approached to do Battle of the Network Reality Stars, the show we mentioned the other day that will appear on Bravo. Well, the castmember (link) actually let us in on the show's secrets. Most importantly, he said he wouldn't be appearing on the show because of the fact that the show's title becomes BONeRS when condensed.
Anyway, here's the information:
The show is slated to be filmed at Pepperdine University in Malibu from June 2 to June 11.
There will be six teams consisting of six team members.
Three events are held each day and everyone participates in at least six of the eight days.
Challenges will include a tandem bike race, a relay race, a kayak race, a swimming relay, a ping pong competition, an obstacle course and more.
Everyone takes home $3,000 just for coming. The winning team receives $10,000 each, or $60,000 as a whole .
Here's another big item: I'm getting word that a Real World power couple who were on the rocks for sometime have just recently got together. Kyle (Chicago) and Lori (Back to New York) are back together according to one insider.
Here's an article on Frankie (San Diego) from Prick Magazine.
And if those previews of Derrick (Extreme) hasn't gotten you all riled up, I'm hearing that this next episode will be good, so don't miss it. Derrick apparently gets stiches as a result of his fight.

Hook-up Report: The various castmembers that are hooking up with one another
What a tangled love web the RW/RR crowd weaves! Here's the low down on who is hooking up, who hooked up, and who broke up. Well you all know that Dave (South Pacific) and Cara (South Pacific) are still together and apparently Trishelle (Las Vegas) and Adam (The Quest) are still going strong. Something you might not know is that Abram (South Pacific) and Coral (Back to New York) are an item. Robin (San Diego) and Blair (The Quest) have apparently hooked up but it seems it was just a one-time deal. As for the break ups, Lori (Back to New York) and Kyle (Chicago) are no longer together. Mallory (Paris) and Ace (Paris) are done. Last but not least, whatever happened with Cameran (San Diego) and Brad (San Diego) while taping the San Diego season is not happening now according to Cameran.

Lori confirms that engagement was a hoax; San Diego may have eighth roommate; Gauntlet premiered last night
Yes, it was yet another hoax... Lori (Back to New York) officially announced today that she was not engaged. This comes off our announcement on Friday, that our suspicion was most likely, this was a hoax. The announcement came off the registry on The Wedding Channel. However, it is very easy to falsify registries, and therefore the validity of their engagement was in question. Again, this isn't the first time for something like this nature to happen. Unfortunately, there are some people out there who have nothing better to do than to concut these elaborate stories. Anyway, good luck to Lori and Kyle (Chicago)!.
A great site to note: Real World San Diego is made by San Diego residents who have pictures, names, ages, and lots of information about the new cast in San Diego. So what's the latest word? There's an eighth roommate in the house.
And yes, the Gauntlet premiered last night to much anticipation. Both Sarah (Campus Crawl) and David (New Orleans) were sent to The Gauntlet last night. (I'll keep mum on who won for those of you who are waiting on reruns... If you don't want to know more, don't read.) Elka (Boston) took the $10,000 for the first mission. And now a word on strategy: Yes, it's different. For the past two seasons, there's been a point system that at least one team follows. But with the point system out the door, the question of who to send to the Gauntlet is a huge question. However, I see the game turning to alliances. The whole point of the game is to stay to the end. You can try to win missions, but as long your team is working hard, you really don't have to make a huge effort. The missions aren't really important to the game, unless people are judging you on performances. If you have an alliance of seven, there is no way that you can really be sent home. And the pressure to trust your fellow alliance members is easy, because ultimately in the end, not everyone is going home. (That simple fact may make this game boring.) Even smaller alliances are beneficial as well. I think Matt (New Orleans) put it well when he said that this game is extremely political. Because all you have to do is sway the group... So, count on loud, popular castmembers to make it to the end.

Lori and Kyle engagement is a hoax; Q100 takes poll on whether Lindsay got a boob job
Just to clarify a bit: Yes, we did report that Kyle (Chicago) and Lori (Back to New York) are getting married. However, it seems that the only clarification or confirmation we are getting is from The Wedding Channel. Let me report to you, that this is a rumor pretty much until Lori or Kyle go public with it. It's not absolutely true, it can be yet another elaborate hoax...
Speaking of alumni, Malik (Back to New York) is appearing in a Polo Sport commercial. It's very short, but he has a line in it. Look for it!
And those people over at the Bert Show are taking a poll as to if Lindsay (Seattle) really did get a boob job. If you're feeling left out: Lindsay worked at the Bert Show, a morning radio show in Atlanta for many years, and just left to host a TV show in Tampa. The Bert Show obtained footage of Lindsay's show and it looks like she did get a boob job. But you be the judge, check it out!

Kyle and Lori are rumored to have been engaged
This news is new: I'm getting word that Kyle (Chicago) and Lori (Back to New York) have been engaged. I've heard a date of October 16, 2004. However, I don't know if this is entirely accurate. Word should spread soon and we should find soon. Congratulations if it really did happen! Kyle and Lori are the third Real World couple to get married after Sean (Boston), Rachel (San Francisco), Pam (San Francisco), and Judd (San Francisco).
And that footage of Lindsay should be posted today. (Look below.)

And Trishelle (Las Vegas) was on the new Tom Green Show recently. She was also nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Reality Television Female.
Thanks to those who emailed us about these two things!

Donnell may have been arrested on battery charges; Many people hate Kyle on the new daytime soap
The last person that we learned of having a criminal past was Frank (Las Vegas)... Now add Donell (South Seas) to that list. Donell was booked in Wakefield, Massachusetts two months ago on assault and battery charges. No official details on what exactly happened, but he was arrested by police. Thanks to Ex-Man for that. (NOTE: Frank was arrested back before Real World Las Vegas even began for defecating a frat house. Yes, I said defecating. The Smoking Gun was the one the reveal this about Frank's prank.
And ouch! In a poll taken from Days of Our Lives fans about the new actor portraying returning character Philip Kiriakis on the show... An astounding 54% of fans said they hated Kyle's (Chicago) portrayal of Kiriakis, while 24% also said they were indifferent. A minority of only 21% agreed with the decision to cast the new actor in the daytime soap.

Las Vegas premiered tonight; Frank tells TVGuide he was embarassed, Brynn says she'll never do the Real World again; Kyle and Lori are dating
Being hailed as one of the most innovative, dramatic seasons of all the twelve, the producers of the long time running show, The Real World promise that their Las Vegas installment would be one of the best. Now that the first episode has aired, there has been mixed reaction to Trishelle, Brynn, Irulan, Arissa, Alton, Steven and Frank and the circus called the Real World.
Personally, I thought that the episode was a little too much too soon. We accurately reported most of the dramatics of the first episode about two weeks ago (That's for all you haters at the message boards.) And we did see the love triangle... (Love square, rather) of Steven, Trishelle, Frank and Brynn. Most people who are new to the show emailed in saying that the first episode absolutely disgusted them. They were appalled by the season's tackiness and fake reactions of the castmembers. However, long standing fans of the series have applauded the first episode, saying that it has all the dramatics of a classic Real World season. More than likely, production decided to jump into a huge issue far too soon. That should've been a third episode topic... not a first episode topic. However, Las Vegas is promising a lot more than this love square, so they probably had to fit that into the first episode. What do you think? Email us at newrwroad@hotmail.com.
Have you seen the new issue of TV Guide? Well, there is an article detailing the behind the scenes drama that went on when the castmembers first moved into the house. Apparently, within minutes of meeting each other Steven had his hands on Trishelle's leg, maybe foreshadowing impending moments to come. They also had trouble with the elevator. (They have to push in a secret code.) There's also an incident where on their way to Ghostbar, the cast takes the emergency stairs only to be led to a dead end. On their way back to the elevator, they lock two cameras in the stairwell. It also has a short profile of each castmember. Frank says that he's pretty embarrassed about the first episode, leading us to believe that this will blow over. Brynn rates the Real World experience with a 5, saying that she would never do it again. It's a pretty interesting article.
Wanda over at Eonline had her chat on Monday. Just to keep those who want to know informed, she only reported on Cara's appearance on Jenny Jones. She also talked about Lori and Kyle dating... Which we both reported to you several days ago.
Also, we are unfortunately behind on the site with all the new things. It's a lot of work, but thanks for waiting!

Cast profiles for Chicago released; 9/11 may be profiled on the show
Hey! Told you we'd be back! Here's the news on the Real World Chicago! Trust me, it'll be a wild ride unlike the Real World has ever seen.
The cast:
Aneesa: A 19-year-old from Philadelphia. Her father is black and her mother is Jewish. She's described as a lesbian trying to find her place in the world.
Cara: A 22-year-old from Boston. A middle child of upper-middle-class Jewish parents, she's a student from Washington University in St. Louis.
Chris: A 23-year-old from Brockton, Mass. He's a gay recovering alcoholic who's been sober for eight months and regularly attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
Kyle: A 22-year-old from Lake Bluff, Ill. An all-American golden boy with good looks and athletic ability. Princeton University student.
Keri: A 21-year-old from New Orleans. A southern blonde with a seemingly limitless circle of friends and acquaintances. She grew up on a farm in the Louisiana and her family is deeply rooted in Louisiana culture and politics.
Theo: A 19-year-old from Riverside, Calif. An African-America son of a pastor who is a ladies man. His move to Chicago is the first time he's lived in a diverse environment.
Tonya: A 21-year-old from Walla Walla, Wash. A blond-haired, blue-eyed woman with a "Baywatch body." Neglected by her mother, she grew up in the foster care system.
While in Chicago, the cast worked at Piece (a restaurant), a beach, and a newspaper. It is unclear why they worked at different places, whether they were given jobs this year or whatnot, so we'll see what BMP will show. Also, the cast was filming during 9/11, so I'm sure you'll see something about that, because the Sears Tower in Chicago was evacuated that day, and there was widespread panic in the city. Also, if you haven't heard... filming began with trouble.
Supposedly, the day the Real Worlders moved in, a shooting occured in front of the loft. Attention was brought to the Real World house because of the Chicago Sun-Times reporting the address of the loft in the newspaper. Protests begun to kick the Real Worlders out. Things happened from there, cast members were offered the chance to leave the show for next season. We'll see what happens, but I'm sure it'll be a great season. More later. Stay tuned.
