Jamie cast as the lead in a new pilot on the ABC family series "Samurai Girl"

We reported last Friday, that Jamie (San Diego) had been on Days of Our Lives as a recurring castmember. Last week seemed to be Jamie's week.

Jamie is actually working on a pilot that's in production for the 2008-2009 cable television season. She's been cast in the lead role of the series "Samurai Girl" which is the story of an adopted girl who's trying to merge her heritage of ancient Samurai traditions and her newly adopted lifestyle. The series is a pilot for ABC Family.

The series is based upon a book series of the same name. Congratulations to Jamie and we hope to see her on television quite soon.

Jamie has been part of Days of Our Lives for about a month

Jamie (San Diego) has been keeping busy in her professional life as of late. She is officially the second alumni to join the cast of a major soap opera.

Jamie joined the cast of Days of Our Lives as sorority girl Cordy late last month. She is a recurring cast member on the show.

Jamie joins Kyle (Chicago) who once part of the main cast of Days as Philip Kirkias. Congratulations to Jamie!

Jamie shows up as an extra in Kelly Rowland's latest video "Like This"

Jamie (San Diego), who we last saw take home the grand prize in the Inferno 2, recently appeared in Kelly Rowland's latest video "Like This". There are a couple of extras in the video, all of whom are dancing to the track at a party, but Jamie is in a couple of shots near the beginning of the video. Here's a quick snapshot:

Mike still needs your help; Updates on the San Diego cast

Mike (Back to New York) made it to the Top 5 of WWEs Tough Enough. And we have an update on the San Diego cast from Angel. Cameran has been dating someone by the name of Jeremy for the past 8 months. Brad again has a steady girlfriend and this may be "the one". Jamie is dating someone who works on Jackass. Frankie has been on the road with Dave. Randy is traveling. Robin is actually back together with Mike, her boyfriend who was sent to Iraq, that is now home. Robin broke up with Mike after he got shipped off to Iraq and hooked up with Mark (USA Tour 1) while on Battle of the Sexes 2. And no update on Charlie.

Dan, Cameran, Jamie are all shooting footage for the Philadelphia premiere special

Dan (Miami), Cameran (San Diego), and possibly Jamie (San Diego) are hosting a preview show for the Real World Philadelphia. They give their thoughts on the upcoming season based on some clips. According to Dan, it doesn't seem to be much different from the past seasons. Check out his thoughts here.

Jamie arrested in January of last year on DUI charges

The Smoking Gun has uncovered another Real World arrest within the now infamous San Diego season. After both Brad and Robin were put in handcuffs and sent to jail within the same episode, Jamie had her ordeal luckily before the cameras even started rolling. That's right... Jamie was arrested in January of last year for drunk driving. The Smoking Gun lists the case here.
